Construction Project Administrator

The Construction Administrator will draft and issue subcontract agreements, continuously tracking compliance.  The ideal candidate must be able to work 8am-5pm, M-F, on site in our Camas, WA office, and possess a proactive work ethic. This position requires a detail-oriented person that can multi-task.  Construction agreement analysis skills are required. 

Responsibilities:

  • Draft and issue subcontract agreements; track and follow up until fully executed
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, subcontractors and accounting team to ensure timely submission of documentation and compliance items
  • Monitor and track compliance in insurance, licensing, certified payroll, lien waivers and other subcontract requirements
  • Utilize construction management and accounting systems (Sage 300 CRE, Procore) to track project data and documents
  • Communicate professionally in-person, via phone, Teams, and email with employees, clients, and vendors
  • Provide backup phone and receptionist support
  • Cross-train in various accounting roles for vacation/time-off coverage
  • Perform cost data entries on daily/weekly/monthly basis

Qualifications:

  • Min 2 years’ experience with construction administration and/or accounting duties
  • An Associate’s Degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent experience in accounting or construction administration desired
  • Familiarity with Washington and Oregon mechanics lien laws is a plus
  • Strong reading comprehension and contract review skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Prociency in Sage 300 CRE and Procore is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to work collaboratively across departments
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet time sensitive deadlines
  • High level of integrity when handling sensitive or confidential information
