Matt Olson

Matt Olson is the President and Co-Founder of Robertson and Olson Construction Inc. His development of the long and short term goals and strategies ensures the continued success of the company. It is one of the company values to remain diversified and maintain long-standing relationships with our clientele, which Matt prioritizes in business. R&O has a reputation for impeccable integrity as well as high-quality craftsmanship and communication. R&O Prides itself in having it’s owner involved in the day to day operations and projects are frequently visited by Matt himself.

A flexible and strong staff is a major focus for Matt- each team member must have excellent communication skills and a diversified construction background, similar to R&O’s portfolio of work. Our clients can be assured that they have the best now, and for years to come. Matt began construction in the industry when he was just 17 years old, learning all aspects of how to construct, and then evolving into the business side of things. He has unprecedented design and valuable engineering experience that plays an important part in the pre-construction and estimating process of our many construction projects.

Brian Dudley

Brian has been in the construction industry for almost 20 years managing a variety of commercial projects including multi-family, mixed-use, office, retail, data centers, medical, and tenant improvements with costs ranging from $100K to over $50M. Starting at Robertson and Olson as a Project Manager, Brian now oversees the team of Project Managers, Project Engineers, and the Estimating Department.

Brian takes an active role in the preconstruction process with value engineering, cost estimating, method and product analysis, contract negotiations, as well as still makes time to manage various construction projects. His experience with both architecture schooling and builder provides him with a unique and useful perspective on both design and construction related items. He enjoys digging into the details, overcoming challenges, and solving problems.

Dennis Schmid

Dennis is Robertson and Olson’s Vice President of Field Operations. He has been with the company since 1997, and is a key asset to the team. Dennis’ role has multiple facets: he manages the entire field crew from Superintendents to laborers to subcontractors, ensuring each project lives up to the standards of R&O.

Because of his experience in the field as a laborer, Carpentry Foreman and now manager, his eye for detail and outstanding communication is un-matched. Dennis leads with a management style of developing rapport with the crew members, maintaining relationships with sub-contractors and clear communication with clients.
