As part of the Hawthorne Depot construction project, Robertson & Olson was also hired to do interior building work for Viewpoint Construction Software. We aimed to retain the historic theme used in renovating this historic building while also adding modern elements. We sourced local products, reused old-growth timber for the stairs, recycled almost every pound of debris that came off the site and built to precision a hexagonal curtain wall system made from structural Douglas fir to match. Our carpenters turned eight-foot-long teak pieces into custom door-pulls at the exterior. We are proud to have been a part of this LEED Platinum project.
